Nuestra historia
Two cultures of flavor, one family table
Where it started
[Owner’s story: who started La Isla Bella, where the family is from in Cuba and the Dominican Republic, and how the restaurant came to Fowler Ave. A few sentences in their own words.]
La Isla Bella cooks the food we grew up with: Cuban classics like ropa vieja, pernil, congrí and croquetas, next to Dominican favorites like mangú, Tres Golpes, sancocho, chivo and mofongo.
Everything is made in our kitchen on 2047 E Fowler Ave, the way it’s made at home. Come for breakfast, stay for a cafecito, and bring the family.
[Optional: a family recipe, a favorite dish of the owner, or what makes La Isla Bella different.]
